02/14/2024: River Pond

River Pond Instructor: Jennifer Johnson The River Pond quilt is a beautiful quilt that evokes a mountain landscape reflected in the waters below. The modern(ish) design of the quilt consists of cleverly pieced blocks turned on point and sewn into diagonal strips. It is not as hard as it looks, but it does require precise cutting, a precise quarter inch seam, and good organization. You will relay enjoy the process of building this quilt as well as the final product. The two sessions should enable you to get all your blocks made and have a good start on assembling the top.
